Revisit classic tunes from mel o'dee, djengis khan, 4-mat, stargazer, reverse and quite a few other guys. :)

Chipmods may be some of the finest tunes ever composed on computers. In addition to SID-modules, these modules are the very simplest of all sounds to the ear, but to create a -good- chipmod is a very hard task. MP3 and VQF has made it possible to create very high standard sound for the internet, allowing people to download any track in cd-quality. In the good old days that weren't possible with the size of samples and stuff, and when people released a new game or a new demo, the music had to be both small and good. Chipmods is modules which is trying to be as small as possible yet provide a good, quality sound. These are some of the finest arts from the demoscene. Enjoy.

Vel, nordmenn liker å hente mp3, ingen tvil om det. MP3, Sex og warez er det nordmenn som oftest søker etter på internet. I de gode gamle dager var SID (C64) og chipmoduler som var det som gjaldt. (chipmods er små moduler med forholdsvis enkle og små samples) Her finner du en samling med de beste chipmodulene, med informasjon om hvem som står bak dem i de tilfellene jeg har klart å få tak i den informasjonen. SID-moduler kan man finnes på tusenvis av steder, så jeg har foreløpig valgt å ikke inkludere de her.
