As you've all experienced, the terror-attack on the US has caused thousands and thousands in casualties. I've just received the following mail from a Steve Buscemi-fan in the states, so i'll post it here as he asked. And i'll have to say, i'm truly amazed. I've got goosebumps all over my arms atm, i'm astonished.

I know steve used to be a firefighter before he became an actor. a firefighter called in to Howard Stern today. this firefighter had been there since tuesday pulling bodies out. he turned around at one point, tired and needing help. a hand reached out for him..it was steve buschemi in his old uniform. no one knew he was there because he wasn't steve buschemi the actor. he was steve buschemi the firefighter. he has been there since tuesday. God bless you steve. you make me proud. it will be an honor to meet you.

I've tried not to include sounds and stuff found on other pages i've linked here, as I consider that stealing (
Steve Buscemi is one of the finest actors out there. His portraits of kinda 'not-the-regular-man' and lunatics are simply some of the best work ever done by any actor in any movie. His appearance as 'Donnie' in The Big Lebowski is just awesome, and of course he makes "Big Daddy" worth seeing by doing one of the coolest homeless guys ever. Just hear the applause steve, this is for you. :-)
His participation in several of the latest blockbusters out there, has earned him several good characters over the last years. His character in ConAir (the massmurderer) is just amazing, i'd bet that he were a real massmurderer, if i hadn't known the guy from earlier. :-) We've also seen him do really good work at several other films, like the Reservoir Dogs (Directed by Quentin Tarantino) where you just HAVE to see the dialouge about tipping. It's just friggin' great. :) (you can hear it over at the Steve Buscemi Worship Page)
